Accessibility

It also tells you how to report accessibility issues, request information in an accessible format, and what to do if you’re not satisfied with the response.

Overview

This accessibility statement applies to the Scratch Less – https://scratchless.co.uk

This website is run by the University of Nottingham. We want there to be no barriers to using it. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
  • We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

This website is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2.

Screen reader access to the presentation

To ensure all users have access to the presentation content, we provide an HTML version designed to offer the best experience for screen reader users.

This structured version is delivered in a semantic format with clear headings and readable content, enabling improved navigation and comprehension through assistive technologies. Screen reader users will automatically be presented with this accessible version.

This approach ensures key programme content is delivered in a format optimised for accessibility needs, supporting a more inclusive and consistent user experience across all audiences.
